What can orthodontics fix?
Orthodontic treatments are used to fix spacing, crowding, midline discrepancy (when the centering of your upper and lower teeth are off), rotated teeth, angled teeth, and minor misalignment (overbites and underbites). We invite you to come in for an orthodontic consultation so that we can assess how your smile looks now and how it can be improved with orthodontics.
What are the benefits of aligner therapy?
The biggest benefit of aligner therapy is that it’s a nearly undetectable way to straighten your smile. The clear trays are designed to blend in with your teeth so that they are less noticeable. They are also custom-made from smooth plastic material for a comfortable fit that doesn’t irritate your cheeks or gums. Plus, they are completely removable, unlike braces’ brackets that are attached to your teeth, so you won’t have any problem cleaning your teeth and eating like normal.
Which aligner therapy is right for me?
There are pros and cons of each treatment options. If you are interested in orthodontic treatment, we first go over what you’d like to change about your smile. That along with your patient history and your budget will help us determine which aligner therapy is best for you.
How long will my orthodontic treatment be?
The length of your orthodontic treatment completely depends on how much your teeth need to be changed to get to your perfect smile and how well you adhere to your treatment plan. We are able to give you a better estimate after we have reviewed your case in person.
What happens after my orthodontics treatment?
Over time, teeth continue to shift. That’s why after any type of orthodontic treatment, you will need to wear a retainer to make sure all the hard work that was done during your orthodontic treatment lasts. Once your treatment plan is complete, we will go over the schedule for how often to wear your retainer to keep your teeth in their perfect positions.
